Privacy Policy

The FACE YOURSELF METHOD app (at kennybricks.com/app) is run by Kenny Bricks, a business and mindset coach based in Ontario, Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to send your sign-in code. We don't use passwords.
• Your profile: the name and character you choose, your goals, and your settings (reminder times, quiet hours, time zone).
• Your daily progress: checklist items, missions, XP, streaks, your Morning Promise and exercise answers, the size of plan you pick for the day (Normal, Short or Recovery), your daily action and any focused time.
• Your goals and character: your long-term vision, season goal, weekly milestones, the illustrated character you build and the future you choose (home, business, health and so on). Your character is drawn from the options you pick. We never guess anything about you from a photo.
• Optional check-in: if you tell the app how you're arriving today (for example "Low energy"), it's saved privately with that day. It's not a health assessment and is never shared or used for ads.
• Your private journal: written entries, voice notes you choose to transcribe, progress photos and videos, and your Day 1, 30, 60 and 90 check-ins.
• Community posts: anything you post, comment on or cheer in the Community tab.
• Basic technical data: when you were last active and how you found the app (for example, a link from Instagram).

Who can see it

• Your journal, photos and videos are private. Only you can see them, unless you choose to share one in the Community.
• The leaderboard shows your chosen name and XP. You can hide yourself from public rankings in Profile → Settings at any time.
• Community posts are visible to other signed-in members.
• Kenny (the coach) can see member counts, overall progress statistics and reported community posts, so he can run the program and keep the Community safe.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to sign you in, save your progress, send the reminders you've turned on, create your Future You picture, and improve the 90-day program. We never sell your information, and we don't show third-party ads.

Services that help us run the app

• Cloudflare hosts the app and stores its data. Its AI service turns voice notes into text and creates the Future You picture.
• Resend delivers your sign-in emails.
• OpenAI is a backup for voice typing and the Future You picture when Cloudflare's service is busy. It then receives that voice note, or the words you used to describe your Future You. If you have a paid plan and choose “Put me in it” or “use my photo”, it also receives your photo, but only after you give permission on that screen. We don't keep the selfie you upload for “Put me in it”, and you can delete the pictures made from it at any time.
• OpenAI also powers Coach Bricks, the AI coach in the Ask Coach tab. When you ask him something, OpenAI receives your question, your recent messages with him, his file on you (below), and a short summary of your progress: your first name, your day, your streak and which missions you've done. It receives your check-in words and journal notes only if you said yes to “Can Coach Bricks read your journal?”, which you can change any time. It never receives your email address or photos. Your chats with Coach Bricks are deleted after 7 days, or sooner if you delete them. Coach Bricks also keeps a short file on you, so he remembers what matters to you between chats: your goals, the people you mention, your wins and what you're working through. It never holds anything about a crisis, medical diagnoses, or passwords and account numbers. The file stays while you're a member; you can read, change or erase it any time under “What Coach Bricks remembers about you”, and it's deleted with your account. Kenny reads a few chats without names, and any answer you mark 👎, to make Coach Bricks better. If a message suggests you may be in danger, Kenny is alerted with your name so he can reach out. OpenAI doesn't use this data to train its models.
• Your phone or browser's push service (from Apple, Google or Mozilla) delivers reminders. The reminder itself carries no personal content; the app loads the message after it arrives.

These providers may process data outside Canada. They only receive what they need to do their job.

Email from Kenny (optional)

Signing in with your email never signs you up for anything. Kenny's monthly email (motivation, one action, and app news) only goes to members who tick the box to receive it. We keep a record of what you agreed to and when. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and you can switch it off any time in Profile → Email from Kenny. Sign-in codes still arrive either way.

Reminders

Reminders are optional. You can change their times, set quiet hours, or turn them off in Profile → Settings, or block notifications in your phone's settings.

Your choices

• Download your data: Profile → Settings → Download my data.
• Delete a photo, video or journal entry at any time from your journal.
• Delete your account: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. This permanently erases your profile, progress, journal, photos, videos and community posts.

Age

The app is for people 16 and older.

Keeping it safe

All traffic is encrypted, sign-in sessions are stored in secure cookies, and private media is only shown to its owner. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes and contact
